Olga Jegunova

The Latvian pianist Olga Jegunova makes every performance fresh and compelling. She possesses a remarkable musical imagination combined with a seriousness of purpose and discipline. Her repertoire ranges from Bach to Schnittke, Scarlatti to Bartok and includes much contemporary repertoire, not least some new works composed especially for her.

"Peter and the Wolf" Olga Jegunova (piano) and Matthew Crampton (actor) for adults

Olga and Mathew have created a unique storytelling genre where en existing story is being accompanied by piano solo. “Peter and the Wolf” has a written material (both words and music) by S.Prokofiev. However, The Russian tail “Firebird” presents variety of music, including piano improvisations. 

After the interval Olga will play works for solo piano.

Duo Schäffer - Jegunova at St George the Martyr

Duo Schäffer-Jegunova (Suzanne Schäffer – violin and Olga Jegunova – piano) will give this concert at St George the Martyr.

Olga and Susanne were prize winners in the International Chamber Music Competition in Pinerolo, Italy, in March 2016.
